Rothenburg,
Aug

We stopped at a shop and got a couple of Schneeballen (snowballs) which
are a specialty of Rothenburg. Mine had marzipan, and Pat's had almonds.
One of the most popular places to photograph in Rothenburg is called the
Plönlein (Little Square) and Siebersturm (Sieber's Tower). We also bought
an etching of this location in the art shop which was just behind
the spot where we took this photo.
A photo we took from where we walked along the covered city wall.
Rothenburg actually has a moat, which is probably almost as gross as it was in
medieval times. Good for discouraging swimmers and would-be marauders.
