If you look closely, you'll see that the mice apparently have
little
arched doorways as well.
Village life in the Alps: There's always a church that no one attends anymore,
sometimes a brewery, always cattle on the hillsides (with bells),
and
lots of neatly stacked firewood everywhere you look. Winter
must be interesting on these steep roads.
On the way into Austria, we followed a stream fed by glaciers. You can see
a waterfall from a side stream that just came out of the rock.
The water
was a deep aqua color and very cold...
...but not cold enough to deter these avid kayakers shooting the rapids.
