We got a kick out of this store in Davos. We later found out that "Schmuck"
apparently
refers
to
elaborately decorated eggs, much like Fabergé eggs.
I went shopping, but everything is very expensive. Bought a muslin bread
holder with
an edelweiss design on it.
Pat and I took another funicular up to the top of Jakobshorn. Again, the color
is
terrible in these photos, but it was a gorgeous, top-o'-the-world view.
Now THAT'S what we call a picnic table!
Finally we figured out our camera problems, and colors
began to look better. After Pat's conference finally finished,
we drove up into a valley to see a
mountain village called
Monstein, where they brew
their own beer.
This is the church and cemetery there.
