Trip to St Lucia, February 2006
The Pitons.
These were formed from lava doming up under the granite surface rock.
The town below is Soufriere, French for sulphurous.

Pat with Arlette, our housekeeper. She comes from a family of 12 children.
We had to have a 4-wheel-drive vehicle to get up the road to our cottage.

Relaxing by the plunge pool.

A cocoa tree. The pods grow right out of the branches and trunks.
