Trip to St Lucia, February 2006
I forget what this plant was called, but the flower was so
unusual and beautiful.
Nutmeg tree. The fruits looked a lot like small peaches, or apricots.
When the fruit is ripe, it splits at the bottom to reveal a bright red
kernel. The bright red, lacy part is mace, and the nutmeg is the part
all the way inside.
A "wax rose" plant with a little gecko on top.
Papaya were also everywhere. All shapes and sizes.
