Trip to St Lucia, February 2006
Cocoa
seeds drying in the sun. First they were fermented in the darkened shed
behind Pat.
This is the cocoa pod broken open. The seeds are surrounded by a really
gross mucous-like substance. Once they're cleaned, fermented, dried, and
polished, they look like the ones in Pat's hand.
A chenille plant.
Bananas were growing everywhere.
